At Wise I worked mostly on the Product Discovery team, bridging the gap between marketing and product, primarily looking after wise.com. Our focus was to show the benefits of Wise and inform prospective users what Wise has to offer before registering.

It started with the rebrand

In 2022 Wise had a major design rebrand going from a generic blue brand system to a bold and expressive new green design. My first task was to take this new brand design and apply it to existing pages across wise.com.

Creating a unified design system

There was a design system in place for product but there was no system for web, creating a fragmented experience when browsing the Wise website. To improve consistency and scalability we created a new web design system.

Some page improvementsalong the way

I worked on various projects to improve the website, such as improving comparison tables to show Wise’s price advantage over competitors, making pricing pages clearer to reduce customer support contacts and updating the security page to help customers feel assured when moving money.

Wise is a global brand but the website isn’t, pages are translated but the content generally stays the same, even though Wise is not used for the same purposes in different markets. Working alongside regional marketing teams, we updated core pages across different regions to bring a more relevant and targeted experience for our customers across the globe.
